Today marks the 42nd day of my adventure, and it's a special one. I'm traveling from Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Lake Barrington, Illinois, to visit my cousins. Instead of taking the usual interstates, I decided to embark on a scenic route through Wisconsin's state and county roads. The ride turned out to be quite the journey, clocking in at over five hours. What I didn't anticipate were the numerous detours caused by construction.
