A Short Trip to Montreal

Day 28 of my travel journey brought me to the vibrant city of Montreal, a short 40-minute trip from my motel to my daughter’s apartment. My daughter attended McGill University and has enjoyed Montreal so much that she decided to stay. It was wonderful to see her again and catch up on life.

Lunch at Cafe Pigeon

After catching up a bit, we decided to head out for lunch. My daughter suggested Cafe Pigeon, which was conveniently located within walking distance from her apartment. The cafe had a cozy ambiance, and the food was delightful. It was a great spot to relax and chat.

Shopping Spree

Post-lunch, we indulged in some retail therapy. We explored various boutiques and shops, and I must say, Montreal has a charming selection of stores. It was fun to browse through unique items and enjoy the lively atmosphere. I even picked up a few souvenirs to remember this special day.

Vegan Dinner at Sushi Momo

As the day turned to evening, my daughter took me to Sushi Momo for dinner. She is a vegan and was excited to introduce me to vegan sushi. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, but the experience turned out to be fantastic. The flavors were incredible, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious vegan sushi can be. It was a lovely dinner, and I enjoyed every bite.

Exploring Montreal

Unfortunately, my daughter has to work in the morning, but that gives me an opportunity to do a little exploring of Montreal on my own. I’m looking forward to discovering more of what this beautiful city has to offer. From historic sites to modern attractions, there’s so much to see and do. I can’t wait to share more of my adventures soon.
