My Journey from Portland to Portland: An Epic Adventure

Starting the Day in Pennsylvania

Today marks day 25 of my incredible journey from Portland, Oregon. I began my day by leaving my friend's house in Pennsylvania, filled with excitement and anticipation for another leg of my trip.

Exploring Portland, Maine

One of the highlights of my route was the visit to Portland, Maine. I had meticulously planned this stop to perfectly bookend my journey, having started in Portland, Oregon. The city did not disappoint! From the charming old port district to the scenic waterfront, Portland, Maine, was a delight to explore. I took some time to stroll around, soak in the local culture, and grab a bite before hitting the road again.

A Rainy Ride to Bethel

My journey from Portland, Maine to Bethel took a wet turn. What was supposed to be a scenic 1 ½ hour ride turned into a battle against the elements. It rained the entire way, but thankfully, my trusty rain gear kept me dry. Despite the weather, the ride was still enjoyable, thanks to the beautiful side roads I navigated.

Ending the Day with Pizza and Beer

After reaching Bethel, Maine, I was more than ready to get out of the rain. I found a cozy spot, grabbed a pizza and a beer, and spent the night safe from the downpour. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of riding through less-than-ideal weather conditions.

Looking Forward to a Dry Day

As I settle in for the night, I'm hopeful that tomorrow will bring clearer skies and dry roads. This journey has been nothing short of amazing, filled with both challenges and incredible moments. Here's to the next adventure!
